Our Story
May 14th marks the beginning of the mass dispossession of the indigenous Palestinians from their homeland and replaced with the Zionist State. The exodus not only displaced Palestinians physically but also uprooting the cultural and historical ties of Palestinians to their land and community. Scattered, Palestinians established diasporas in the regions they sought refuge in, leading to challenges of cultural continuity and empowered identities. Sporas was established in 2022 to create spaces in our communities to address these challenges and build empowered Palestinian identities within our diaspora to reconnect with our heritage and community.

Mission
The mission of Sporas is to empower Palestinian youth, fostering their identity as dynamic community leaders and confident self-advocates, dedicated to creating safe and inclusive environments within their schools and communities.
Vision
Sporas sees Palestinian youth empowered to embody leadership within their communities, embracing their identity unapologetically and advocating for safe, inclusive spaces in both schools and society.
